Hey Monte,

Not sure if you go to Lossless Legs for torrents, but I heard what could be one of the best Sugaree's ever. Jerry Garcia Band on 5-20-84. Check this one out if you can. The 2nd solo goes on forever with Jerry playing his heart out.

Thanks Mr Lions. You're as hip as an alley cat. I'm over at LL now. Found the show. NO Seeders. Any chance, Mr. Lions, could you please seed this one for me, sir? Thanks for giving me your time. I've also searched the Archive for Sugaree openers, and collected some of them. Other posters have named other great Sugarees, and I have them too.

Arb, can you seed this JGB show for me? My uTorrent is launched. Thanks. d-h-Monte

2 seeders jumped on this, just like "that" -- THIS is why these sites are GREAT. If we could only impeach dubya - and hang him in the Village Square w/ piano wire - then maybe we could get back to Peace on Earth, and sustainable living for everyone.

Thanks everyone. And a BIG thanks to The Boys.

FYI Taking pot shots at the president is lame and old school... impeaching someone who's term is up in in 6 months would be a collosal waste of tax payer money, but that is coming from someone who supports low taxes/small government and that probably makes me a hatemongering racist neocon in your eyes anyway. Just don't tell my evangelical friends that I have used the blank bible pages to roll doobies... oh and I am part native american so you can ALL GO THE FUCK BACK TO WHENCE YOU CAME and take your white guilt bullshit with you!

If you want to research some things. look into this stuff:

1. Who Richard Nixon ran against and his oppenents record of race relations.

2. What Lyndon Johnson, Abe Lincoln and Richard Nixon did for minorities.

3. What the Alabama Democratic Party flag of 1966 was.

4. If 90% of whites voted for McCain it would be racism but when 90%+ african americans vote for Obama it's progess... give me a fucking break... racism is racism is racism.

Now that is just a sampling of one aspect of misinformation and convenient propaganda that is overlooked, unknown or ignored by so called "enlightened" folks who like to throw around slogans like "100 years in Iraq". You know we have been in Europe for almost that long, right? Are we still fighting Nazi's? We have been in Japan almost as long, any Kamikaze's? South Korea for almost as long as that... how many boys have died from communist bullets?

You use what is convenient, you accuse your political adversaries of things you invented in the first place and never back up fact. That is the most of generalizing that I will do, because it's 99% of the time.

I cannot stand when I am in a headshop or at a concert and people assume I am a flag burning, butt munching tree hugger and blurt out ignorant, unsubstantied nonsense expecting to earn my respect. I tell them to go seek the truth and come back when they have their own opinion, not what is popular in hollywood and on snooty tooty college campuses of spoiled rich white kids who have no clue what the real world is about.

And as for the environment, why have the environmentallists stopped nuclear power? It's cleaner, safer and more green than oil or coal... shit even the communist french know that. Get with, start drilling and building nuke plants and refineries and get us off foreign oil so we won't need to go to wars in the middle east for any reason.

In summary, you seem like a nice person and I have no time or energy to fight pointless battles over politics anymore but your statements make you look immature. I thought you should know.

By the way it would be a convenient time to start drawing down troops in Iraq now that we have practically wiped out al-queada there... wonder who will get credit for it?

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE

The real question is what band did Sugaree best? Was it JGB or the Dead. I know I have heard many a smoking Sugaree's from both camps. If I could only find the disc with my favorite version from the Dead I would share it with ya. I used to wake up every morning to that disc. I will return with the date for it one day I promise.
